I found your blog via the leavesoftea community (I was looking to see if you had any vintage Christmas ornaments I needed to covet) and then I decided to stick around and tell you how much I loved your site.

Everything about this space is lovely- the design, photography, vintage finds, and writing really resonate. It's obvious you appreciate old things. I don't know many people who really do, and they certainly don't understand why I'd spend five hours of a Sunday morning digging through a bunch of dusty old things just for one something no one else wanted.

You've also inspired me to catalog all the random treasures I've dragged/will drag home.... starting with that shiny brass door stop I just bought today. :)

My girlfriend told me about your blog! I love it! But I Love the name even more! I have a cat named Pywacket for the exact same reason you named your blog! lol ... He is the most amazing cat! Anyways I am excited to of found your blog!

I want to thank you from my heart for sharing all these thoughts, pictures and impressions with everybody. I'm finding your blog extremely inspirational in a period of my life where I'm stuck doing things I dislike and that kill my creativity and where I often lose conscience of the fact that there are tons of beautiful things in life. Hi Lara. I just wanted to say that I love your blog. I especially love the photos. I moved from Atlanta (loved it and miss it dearly) back to MS about 4 years ago. My sister, who is a senior in high school, dreams of becoming a photographer. She is considering attending SCAD in Savannah. I try to foster her dreams by directing her to sites such as yours. I would like to do more but don't really know what advice to give her. I hope following your beautiful blog inspires her and encourages her not to give up on her dreams.

I absolutely love your photos ... when I come across a piece in my vintage collection, I think of you...and wonder how you would use it as a prop.
Pie has reawakened my 'mind's eye.' Your photos 'speak' so eloquently, as does your copy. I enjoy the vignettes you create and describe...they open up new ideas and remind me of warm memories of familiar items.
I have become fascinated in pool because of you! I think I may have to check and see if there is a "Billiards for Beginner's" class around town.
And, the food! I love your descriptive food posts.
