Such a well put together blog. I'm a design researcher in LA, just passing through. Nice photos too. You're very talented.

I found your link on Lullaloo and had to check out your blog. My first dog as a child was named Piewacket. None of my friends had a clue as to how the poor dog's name was pronounced. It is my understanding that my dad was a huge fan of Bell, Book and Candle. As an adult I'm wondering if he was more a fan of Kim Novak. Anyway, thanks for a childhood reminder. Now I'll take the time to look at your blog. I'm sure that if Katherine likes it I will too.

Hi!
I found your blog via the blog "After 9 to 5" -- and what a great find! Your images and design are awe inspiring.

Just stumbled across your blog and almost instantly I had this feeling you were local (meaning here in Atlanta with me.) I was correct!! YAY! Looking back, I think it was the references to J. Pervis & Houghton... Anywho, I am a new devoted reader and am SO EXCITED to read back thru all your entries and check back for new ones. (So much for getting in bed at a semi-reasonable hour tonight!) Its fantastic to find a blog about beautiful things - with beautiful photos - that are in my own backyard!!!

How interesting that you posted Kate Hudson doing that number from Nine. I just saw the movie recently for the first time and that is the one number that I TOTALLY love! It was so hip, fun, retro and just all around great. Kate looks so much like her Mother, Goldie Hawn in this clip. NINE has now been on tv a few times this week and I always turn it for this particular song. She looks great and did a bang up job. Didn't know she could sing so well. As a final note, I LOVE YOUR SITE. I check her often for great ideas and receipes. Thanks for the terrific blog. Keep up the great work.

Hi there! I just got a nook and through searching on the web found your blog and saw the Fossil cover and LOVE it but I am having a hard time finding it to order. I love the colors of orange, turquoise, etc. but I can only find the navy version and do not like that one as much. Do you know if they discontinued that pattern or where I can get it. I am now obsessed with finding it! Thanks and I love your blog. Great style.

Hi Lara,
I was a photo assistant in LA and I worked with you on your pinup calendar. I came across your blog through sfgirlbybay.
Just came across an article I had saved from the local paper (i'm in Greensboro now) and thought you might be interested in connection with your Lustron Home shoot.

Hiya. I've been getting an eyeful of your blog over the year [as a good friend of Amy at Nellie loves Vintage, I'm often urged/reminded] and I just now noticed that the owl that you have as your 'follow me on twitter' icon is the same owl I happened to choose for a fresh tattoo this summer. I love him. Great minds...
You blog is fabulous. I appreciate every picture, idea and ramble!

Hello there - I have been reading your piewcket blog for about a year now and absolutely enjoy it. Thanks for the lovely inspiration, as well as beautiful photography. I began a blog last February and have finally gotten around to 'socializing'.....Between all the other things we all 'have' to do, it is the one thing that gets lost sometimes....But, on this rainy cozy day inside, I had to say HELLO and looking forward to more posts!
PS - cool Etsy shop..... (My Etsy shop is in need of re-stocking...love your items, especially the lunchbox!)

Hi
I am a big fan of your blog and your photography. I live in the candler park area of Atlanta. I would love to see if you give lessons in photography. I think I have the eye for a camera just not the type of brain that can read a user manual. I have a basic nikon coolpix P80 that I would love to learn how to use and then progress to a better camera. I work in a few various creative jobs and would love to be able to photograph some things that I am involved with daily. Let me know if this is something you would do?

Hello
I know you have no way of knowing this but you have been a wonderful part of my morning for nearly six months. I know most Americans in the past have enjoyed a morning cup of Joe along with a newspaper but I (Like many others) don't read a paper but rather check a series of photo blogs. I love both your photographic and overall life style! Thank you for a few moments of positive inspiration at the beginning of each day.

Just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE your blog! So well done! On the "on my ipod" part what is the album right after John Prine---I like all of the others, but when I click on this one it won't come up and its driving me crazy not knowing what it is! Thanks and thanks for providing a place for creative inspiration.
