I am a big fan of your blog and your photography. I live in the candler park area of Atlanta. I would love to see if you give lessons in photography. I think I have the eye for a camera just not the type of brain that can read a user manual. I have a basic nikon coolpix P80 that I would love to learn how to use and then progress to a better camera. I work in a few various creative jobs and would love to be able to photograph some things that I am involved with daily. Let me know if this is something you would do?

I know you have no way of knowing this but you have been a wonderful part of my morning for nearly six months. I know most Americans in the past have enjoyed a morning cup of Joe along with a newspaper but I (Like many others) don't read a paper but rather check a series of photo blogs. I love both your photographic and overall life style! Thank you for a few moments of positive inspiration at the beginning of each day.

Just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE your blog! So well done! On the "on my ipod" part what is the album right after John Prine---I like all of the others, but when I click on this one it won't come up and its driving me crazy not knowing what it is! How did it all start for you? Didi you go to school for photography?
A beginner myself (bought my first Nikon D90 a couple of months ago), how do I do this?
Would you recommend going to school, or are workshops good enough? What did you do to take it to this level?

I love your blog! I stubbled upon it while researching the new love of my life my royal quite de luxe pink portable type writer that you also own and covet. ( :

I can not get over your incredible imagery! I am an aspiring 'hobby' photographer. I was wondering what camera you use to take the majority of your pictures. Also the technique you use to get the slightly different color variations on almost identical images. For example the recent pomegranate pictures one on top of each other and the pictures of the Diana camera one on top of each other. I really love that!

Any tips would be great! Thanks for the inspiration! I am so looking forward to your response!!!
