House Warming

First up, a few favorite pictures of where I live, as a way of introduction to my world.

Living in Atlanta, spring is my favorite time of year. Collecting is a thrilling thing for me, it is as much about the hunt as it is the find. For me, I go with my gut and trust my visual reaction to what I find. I have been told I have good taste. I just know what I like and what else really matters?

Love your home! Do you do more thrift shopping or flea markets?

I do not go to thrift stores much at all and flea markets when I can find a good one. Most down here are just a place to sell tube socks and live chickens! I do mostly antique mall type stores and estate sales. Also once a month we have Scots Antique Faire, which is kind of like a good flea market. I was able to hit the Metroliner Flea Market, just outside Charlotte, it was heaven!

I recognize your home from saucydwellings! I've always loved your style. I don't want to comment on every post so I'll just add that I love your Orla Kiely chair and that pic of June Carter Cash is stunning!

I am so glad you found me, yours is one of my favorites but I lost the link! (Long story) I just added yours to my blog list too.

love your home

I've always loved mid-century modern. Living in a smallish community, most people think of it as old junk and we have a fine time taking it their hands(:
