Light Lessons ☀

I took all of these photographs, in the same tiny space, I call my studio, which also does triple duty as my laundry and dining room. All were shot with natural light and digitally(Canon 5D).
When I first looked at my place and walked into the "sunroom" off the kitchen, I knew instantly this was it. Despite the small size, approximately 10x14, it has exceeded my expectations. It gets strong, continuous, indirect light all day. Bright white walls and high ceilings also help. I try and keep my equipment and clutter to a minimum and use a simpleportable stand setup for backdrops. It is an especially handy space for still lives, castings and prep work, such as doing hair and make up.
A couple of vintage cabinets and a groovy vintage shoe bag ($1 estate sale find!) help to keep me and my equipment organized. I keep areflector on hand and that is about it, simple, I have learned, works best for me.
