kitchy
I love my kitchen. It is not huge but it works for me and has just the right blend of form and function. I recently updated it with some of the new Orla Kiely Target stuff. Which blends well with my actual vintage stuff. I have realized it is the design esthetic of certain eras that I find so appealing, not really the fact that they are old. Since Orla draws a lot of inspiration from these eras, it works for me.

I have used the moldings above my doors to display my salt & pepper collection. I actually inherited many of the these from my Great Grandmother, who's collection I loved to play with as a child. I have added many of my own finds, over the years.

I love the idea of using your door moulding. Mine is very narrow, but I can still hand stuff above them.
