Cheesy yum!
As the mercury drops there are few meals I find more satisfying than a good bowl of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. I like extra sharp cheddar, a good bread (a soft potato bread in this case) and for some extra zing I sprinkle some Old Bay & garlic salt on each buttered side before grilling. This gives it a kind of texas toast spin.

That looks so good. A cup of tomato soup to go with it would be perfect.
Ah...one of my favorites!! I love a slice of tomato on it as well...adds a little extra ;-)
Oh - that looks delicious! I love the CG sandwiches at Mimi's Cafe - a chain rest. They sprinkle fresh parmesean, or some other cheese (not sure which type?) on the outside and it gives it a yummy, crusty cheesy outside as well!
