All Shiny & New
I spent all weekend working on redesigning and moving my blog, whew! I liked Wordpress but it was limiting in a lot of ways. Pie is coming up on 50,000 hits in just 6 months and I really did not expect it to take off so quickly. I moved to Squarespace because I was able to really customize my blog the way I wanted. I was also able to easily move all my old entries including all photos (not always an option). I hope you like the new look. I know change can be tough but it is healthy too! Love the new look. I read a lot of squarespace blogs - always like them. :o)
Looks great Lara! The only thing I notice, and it may only be me, is that my tab comes up with "Your Site Name-Piewakcet" and whatever that post is titled. I also notice that Piewacket is spelled "Piewakcet" for the RSS feed. Otherwise, all is pretty :-)
Thanks Christine, I think I fixed that spelling error. Do you mean you are not seeing my banner at the top?
I absolutely love your photos ... when I come across one of my collection of vintage items, I think of you...and wonder how you would use it as a prop. Pie has reawakened my 'mind's eye.' Your photos 'speak' so elequently, as does your copy.
I have become fascinated in pool because of you! I think I may have to check and see if there is a "Billiards for Beginner's" class around town.

Hiya Lara....looks like it's fixed :-))) I saw your banner but it was the title of my tab that was spelled incorrectly.
Hmmm, it's going to take me some getting used to commenting here ;-p I also noticed that I can't have follow up comments or replies sent to my email. Is there a way to remedy that so that I would have seen your reply right away?

I noticed that yesterday when I tried to reply and just sent them the question cause if there is a way to fix that, I can not find it. The comment section is my least favorite thing of this new templet but I am not too hopeful that there is much I can do.

Lara, that is probably the only wonky thing on your "new" blog. I love to keep up with the responses and be able to reply sometimes...hehe.
Yeah, they said they do not have that installed but will take it under advisement! Seems pretty basic to me? Oh well.
