Pretty Baby
I love this idea! My Mother, an avid scrap-booker put together a lovely display of her own vintage baby pictures along with carefully saved cards and mementos from her childhood. She used a fabric ribbon board, so no glue or harmful adhesives were necessary. You canmake your own board or I like these options fromVera Bradley.
My Dad likes to joke that my Mom is hoarder (he needs to watchHoarders, not even close) but I think it was myGrandfather who carefully stored these cherished pieces. Photos we expect to find, but what a treat to find notes and cards from this time. I have a lovely collection of Valentines he gave myGrandmother as well.
It does not hurt that my Mom was such a cute and photogenic subject. I think she is still pretty cute! Here she is now, braving an unusally chilly L.A. day to wait with me in the long line atPinks.

I love that idea Lara and it is certainly less time consuming :-) Kudos to mom! Also, you have got to ask mom where she got that fab tote bag she is carrying. I love it!
