Merry Bella!

My friend a wonderful sponsor Melissa of Borsa Bella is putting up not one but two $50 Gift Certificates for Pie's Holiday Giveaway bonanza. You can then choose one of her fantastic handmade gadget covers or maybe one of her super kawaii purses. She is always adding new fabrics and designs and will even work with fabrics you send her. I am so impressed with how well made her bags are and do regret not learning to sew when I had the chance. So to enter, tell me about something you regret not learning or a skill you would love to have. I would love to speak french but have no ear for languages.

Please, one entry per IP, you can earn a bonus entry by commenting on the link to this post on BB's Facebook wall and another by following Piewacket on Facebook. There will be one Pie winner and one FB winner. Entry window closes midnight eastern time, Friday, Nov. 26th. Winners will be chosen at randon via random.org. Be sure to include your email in the box provided, it is not public and I'm not a psychic! Good Luck!

The skill I'd really like to have is to know how to knit! I have so many friends who can knit all sorts of nifty things, but I just seem to have dumb fingers!

I would love to play a musical instrument of some sort.

Gorgeous - but which gadget to cover? :)

Love these bags! Wish I had learned to sew like this. My Mom can, but neither of us had the patience for me to learn!

Being a yogi, I would love to be able to play the harmonium used during Kirtan or devotional chanting!

One day...

I regret not continuing with music lessons. I would love to be the chick who could sit down at any piano and start playing. Adorable bags!!!

I don't regret learning German. I'd also love to learn how to play the ukulele. I have one but I'm terrible at it, heh. I fear my fingers are too stiff from typing all the time though. :\

I wish I'd taken voice lessons.
Hey - there's still time :)

Great giveaway. the products are beautiful.

Hmmm, my "what-if" moment is probably not continuing piano lessons as a child whole heartedly.

I really wish I had learned to sew or maybe do backhandsprings.... How totally different are those two things? LOL! I love all things Borsa Bella - what a treat a $50 gift certificate would be!

I would like to have learned French properly also. I took French in high school but goofed off the entire time didn't learn anything. Recently I have been looking for an app on my phone for French tutorials.

I won some cookies yesterday, my first blog win, so who knows? Maybe I'm on a roll?

I would love to have learned to bake properly. Also, followed on FB for both Piewacket and BB.

Adorable! I love her stuff.

I love to be able to program. I do so many calculations the long way in excel, and I know I could save time if I would do them in python. The problem with learning to program is that slows down my work while I'm learning, so I keep going back to excel.

I wish I could play the guitar I've been dragging around for 10 years.

I would love to learn to play the flute. It is one of the things on my bucket list!

If I had to just pick one it would probably have to be Spanish. Really should have listened better in class - really would have been useful!

Moe you rock, great quality in all you do!

I regret never getting a waitressing job when I was younger. I think it would make me better at small talk and noticing details and stuff. And maybe I wouldn't be a klutz anymore :\

I really wish I had spent more time learning how to sew or knit, 2 things my mother does well and tried to teach me. Unfortunately I never did seem to get the hang of it, no matter how hard I tried. I suppose there is always still time. I really love my Borsa Bella Kindle bag!

Love those patterns! Very beautiful stuff!

Oh, there are so many things I wish my feeble brain was capable of.......everytime I watch 'Amelie' I want to learn to speak French, or a romance language. I wish I could knit, make a quilt, hem pants properly, play guitar and dance with grace - And, make a pie crust.

I wish I could have stuck with learning a language. The problem is that I have a hard enough time with my own language that trying to learn grammar in Spanish or German was a nightmare. My mom loves to tease me about the one and only time I asked for her help with my Spanish (she's fluent). I don't remember the Spanish version but the English translates to "I wash myself myself." Good job me!

My mom is a talented sewer (she even has an industrial machine to do heavy-duty work). My sister learned a lot from her and always made her own formal dresses and Halloween costumes. I tried a few things but my perfectionism got in the way.... I wish I knew more. (I know I still have time though! I'm hoping for a sewing machine for Christmas. :D)

I loooove this! Thanks for the giveaway.

November 19, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterNisha

I absolutely regret not learning German while I was living in Germany as a kid. I also regret not trying hard enough to learn Spanish when I got older. I know a lot of the language but just can't piece together the sentence.

I wish I had continued the piano lessons my parents had forced me to take when I was younger. Or learned a second langauge.
