Current Crushes

Say what you will about Martha Stewart, there is just no denying this woman understands the importance of changing with the times. If anything, she stays a step (or two) ahead of the competition. Her newly launched iPad exclusive app version of her magazine is nothing short of amazing. With not just videos but interactive image selection and a navigation that rivals Willy Wonka's great glass elevator. She demonstrates that using this format opens magazines to limitless creative potential and gives a whole new experience to the reader. Best of all...it is just 3.99.

I love pumpkin pie but if you are looking for something a little different for this holiday season a pumpkin roll is a pretty yummy choice. I found this version in my local Kroger's bakery or you can try making your own.

What goes better with a brisk winter day than a warm fire and a pair of cozy slippers? I have been eyeing theseAcorn brand slippers since finding them on Amazon. Stylish and cozy is just not that easy to come by. Above left to right are the dahlia mule, marlow moc and the festiva mule.

Congratulations to Donna, commenter number 109 who won the Fossil cover! Still time to get in on the Borsa Bella giveaway and check back tomorrow for this week's offering!

What a fun post. Do you know what kind of containers those are? They are adorable! Congrats to the Fossil winner :-)
Yes, they are vintage pyrex refrigerator jars.
Love this post. I think those slippers are perfect and I may be getting them as gifts for a few friends. Thank you!
Love those slippers and now I really want an iPad!
I assisted on a shoot for the martha stewart magazine a couple weeks ago and we shot at least 6 extra photo that were exclusively for the ipad edition of the magazine. Also, I don't know if you've ever been to her complex in new york, but the photo studios are awesome!
That is great Emily. I have not, they were only just getting that all started when I left NYC. That has to be a great training ground... sounds like you are doing great in the big apple. Miss you though!
mmmmmm, peonies!
