I don't know about a pinch, but I LOVE to pour it on my watermelon! And peaches! I just recently discovered chili-lime salt which is GREAT for citrus fruit! You should try it! http://www.twang.com/

Yes! I had salt on my watermelon last night. I grew up doing that, but most people I know in adulthood seem to think it's strange. I know better! LOL

In India, it's fairly common to sprinkle rock salt on watermelon. Sweet-n-sour is awesome... :)

I love salt on my watermelon. It brings out the flavor and makes it sweeter...yum!

I grew up eating watermelon with Lime, and Salt! Yummy!! (My mouth is watering as I write this) Sometimes depending on the mood I'll add some chilly powder. I love Jicama, cucumbers and Beer that way too. I Know... it's very Mexican, can't help it I am!

We add salty Feta cheese to our watermelon and that's Yummy!!

I've never tried salt on watermelon! I've made watermelon salad with salty things like feta and olives but never just straight up salt.
i'll have to give it a go!
