Bless Me

Yesterday, I made my second visit to Holy Taco, an excellent new taqueria in East Atlanta. The menu is very unique, with a mix of ethnic influences, from tapas to BBQ.

Set in an open industrial style space with a large outdoor patio and bright touches of color. It has a comfortable atmosphere, full bar and on both visits, very good service.

A very tender short rib Tortas (a small sandwich) and tilapia taco on corn tortillas.

Much attention to detail, I appreciate; roasted tomatoes, Manchega sheep's milk cheese from Spain, chipotle aioli, vidalia onion relish and amazing corn tortillas. And all very affordable, tacos are around $3 while entrees range from $10-$16. I need to head back with a designated driver, as I hear the margaritas are amazing. I'm also game to try the chicken heart tacos fried in a buttermilk batter, oh my.

I actually had to go check out airfares to Atlanta. That place sounds fantastic and I would be happy to be your driver! ;)
