Dressing the iPad

As promised I have been on the hunt for stylish iPad accessories that provide both function and flair. I have four colorful sleeve options for you. The perfect option if you like to use yours coverless but still want it protected when not in use.

iSocket

This very unique design is by Blythe King of iSocket, who uses vintage fabrics to make her one of kind sleeves. The iPad fits snuggly and there is plenty of cushion to keep it protected. This sleeve manages to be whimsical, eye catching, echo friendly, incredibly well made and all for around $80.

JAVOedge

JAVOedge has come up with it's own unique design on an iPad sleeve. Slim and lightweight, the iPad fits perfectly and a magnetic closure adds security and easy access. The corners of one side are left exposed, so you might not want it floating around in a briefcase or book bag. This pattern comes in two other colors and it also comes in a basic black and retails for 35.95.

Borsa Bella

Then there is Borsa Bella which offers probably the most in terms of options. Whether you want to be a rockstar or a princess, chances are they have a fabric that works for you. They also can do a sleeve to cover your iPad in a cover, with handles or without, top zip or side, pocket or no pocket. Don't see exactly what you want? Just ask, they can customize it for you. Like this one above she made for me, a portfolio style case with handles and a pink zipper to hold mine in it's cover. Yeah, I probably fall into the princess category.

M-Edge

M-edge provides the sleekest option, with this beautiful leather sleeve. Simple and very well made, it is also offered in black and brown. The inside is a pale grey and is soft and well cushioned. The closure and stitching details make it a very nice looking case and the quality leather feels wonderful to the touch. All this beauty will cost you 59.99 or you can opt for a synthetic version for $10 less.

Don't have one just yet but there is always hoping ;-p I love the pattern of the Javo but the exposed corners kind of bug me and I'd most likely would tote it in a tote bag...so...I'm leaning towards the M-edge. It seems sturdy looking and yet pretty in purple ;-) Great giveaway Lara! Hugs to Atticus!

I haven't purchased a cover yet, my poor iPad has been running around un-protected. I love the m-edge cover.

Thanks for the giveaway!

So many choices!

I like the borsa bella best. Zipper is important to me as well as the handles. Being a guy, I don't carry some other bag to put a handleless sleeve into. Currently using a targus which is pretty ugly.

Love the I Socket. Too cute! Now for the ipad to put in it...

Love the Borsa Bella bags. They are beautiful!

I do enjoy the Borsa Bella case with the monochromatic guitars. Adorable.

Another option not here is the Byrd and Belle case, which is equally mod and fun: http://www.etsy.com/listing/50065961/ipad-sleeve-graphite-wool-felt-and-black

It appears I have a thing with grey...

totally all things pretty. i purchased the dodocase due to my love for all things moleskin but LOVE the isocket! i am mad about plaid! ; ) thanks for the chance at the giveaway!

I prefer the top one, the iSocket (plus the name makes me laugh).

My iPad is on order (due 8th July), and Ive been looking online for unusual cases and stands - at the moment, Im favouring a home made lego one :)

Cool cases! I really like the Borsa Bella because of the handle and it can be used with a cover. I am currently using the Apple case all the time, with a cool zebra print neoprene sleeve that works with the case on when I take it out somewhere. I don't know why, but I could just go crazy with buying cases for my iPad - it's a sickness!

The iSocket is my favorite! I haven't been using a case and am still on the lookout for the perfect one.

No iPad for me yet, but I see one in my future. I really like that Javoedge, love the pattern.

June 28, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterEmily

Terrific work, as always!

The JavoEdge really appeals to me--my current cover is the MacAlly Bookstand, which leaves even more of the edges exposed, but the ipad's usually got it's own in any larger bag I carry, so it's a non issue.

Of course, every BorsaBella I own has been outstanding....gotta love that pink zipper she put on your custom one!

I LOVE the M-Edge.. Thank you for the Post!!

the borsa bella in black is my choice, right now we're using an incase which is ok but could definitely be better

I was lucky enough to score a free Apple case when I ordered my iPad, but while it functions just fine, it doesn't satisfy my soul! I LOVE the Javoedge cover, it needs to come stay in my home :) Thanks for another great review!

I don't have an ipad yet, but I really love the borsa bella.

I absolutely love your custom made BorsaBella with the pink zipper. That is definitely my favorite!

My favorite would have to be the Borsa Bella Mulan bag!! It is beautiful! Melissa always does such beautiful work! I don't have an iPad yet, but my wedding anniversary is right around the corner! I have already been dropping hints!

June 28, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRoxie

I really like the i socket. I think it is unique.

June 28, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterCindy

I love Borsa Bella bags, and if i win this, its a really great reason to buy an ipad!!

June 29, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterBarbie Turner

What a nice giveaway! I love them all, but I think my favorite notion is a custom-built one. I don't have an iPad yet, but winning this would tip the balance! :) Thankyou!

June 29, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterNancy

I've been using the Apple Case and a purple generic neoprene sleeve for my iPad but I would absolutely love a Borsa Bella bag! They are gorgeous!

June 29, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterKindle-Gracie

From the above four, I prefer the isocket one. It just looks so different, everybody is going to look at it twice!
Right now I am using an old sleeve from my kohjinsha umpc and it fits nicely...

June 29, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterkgian

hmmm...I don't have an iPad...yet.
however, if I did have one, I would certainly cover it with the blue floral/tan cover shown above. it's adorable! perhaps winning an iPad cover would push me to get an iPad once and for all! :)

June 29, 2010 | Unregistered Commentersunny

I think I like the Borsa Bella one the best. I like all the different fabrics she has available and I like the handles.

June 29, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterKimberly A

I don't have an Ipad yet, but i'm working on it! I love the Borsa Bella covers.

June 29, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterCathy

I like the Javo Edge and Borsa Bella bags the best - but I like the design of the iSocket - just not much of a plaid girl.

June 29, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAmy

oh my gosh I am in LOVE with the cute plaid one...adorable!

June 29, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSara Walk

I don't have an iPad yet, but I sure have been looking at them! I love the iSocket sleeve. It reminds me of a comfy flannel shirt!
