Smeg Report~ Part 1

So I've now lived with my Smeg for 2 weeks and I have no regrets on this major splurge. Not only has it proved more beautiful than expected, it has also made me more conscious of what I put in it or on it. In turn making me a better fridge owner.

It is small, 9cubic feet, perfect for a single person or couple, or for a secondary space, like a studio or office. When I lived in NYC, I had a similar size fridge in my first apartment and always found it more than adequate.

My goal is to keep the interior as clean and sleek as the exterior. Stocking it with fresh items that I will eat right away. No more pushing old items to the back and digging them out months later with only a vague memory of what they were.
More to come... next week!

WOW! I would hang these photos on my wall! I can't believe what you can do with ordinary objects though a Smeg is not really ordinary. Gorgeous! I am so jealous!!
Want! Want! Want! Want! Want! Want!
Looks too small for this single person... I have 6 different kinds (and 18 servings) of home made soup in my freezer, plus 3 servings of home made marinara sauce, plus 2 servings of chicken and peppers, plus a half dozen bagels, plus a few links of sausage and I think a few pieces of uncooked chicken. The fridge has a lot of room, but tomorrow I will go to the local fresh market will I will pick up a dozen pieces of fresh fruit and some fresh veggies to make it through the week as well as what I need to cook something big to throw into the freezer this weekend- I think there is still a little bit of room.
Having said all that, I love that 'fridge and if I had a different work schedule I wouldn't need quite so many pre-cooked meals in the freezer.
Hey KJ, no it may not work for you but wow, I do admire your willingness to go to so much effort. I am way to lazy!
You can even make a fridge and a bowl of fruit into a gorgeous photo. You are too, too clever. I love your fridge and your post reminds me I have a heap of stuff way at the back that should be just about ready to throw out.
Maybe I will throw the fridge out too and get a Smeg.
