Light Play

One of my last shoots before leaving Atlanta was with the wickedly handsome musician Paul Warner. We shot these at the beautiful and historic Oakland Cemetery.

Here I did a little freelensing, a tricky technique that can yield great results but if not careful can damage your equipment. The nice thing about working with creative people is they are usually open to experimentation.

We also shot at this house but we had to abort when it turned out an actual human being was in residence and not thrilled about us on her property.

Still, I think it was worth it, what an amazing backdrop.
Check out Paul's music, which I listened to almost non-stop as I drove my truck cross country. You can download his latest, Deadly Waterparks on itunes.

Wow, um "wickedly handsom" ... yes please! Those top two are just beyond dreamy!
These photos are gorgeous, as is your subject!
Great photos and nice video! Gorgeous!
Lara,
Happy to have found your site again, while trying to get my old self back into some semblance of order, which I managed to lose the last several years. Loved the horse photos, but then I found Paul Warner's. Jump-started thoughts and memories of an even better nature than the food photos. As my grandmother once said, "After all, I wasn't born 65." Or, in my current case, 75. So thanks for all of the above. I enjoyed all the content, as usual, and now I can enjoy it more often. I'm also a huge fan, and regular customer, of Trader Joe's. Leslie and Anton are ecstatic about finally getting their new, close-by Whole Foods in Basalt, but they still miss some of T.J.'s items.
