Sweet 13

Last weekend, one of my favorite subjects officially became a teenager. I took these on my last visit to South Carolina. Cajun, a stubborn, beat up old nag of a horse is the love of her young life.

And I think it might be fair to say, the feeling is mutual. 

Still one of my favorite shots taken when Izzy was barely 4 years old.

To say the years have flown by feels like a serious understatement. A blink, that is how it seems.

Ahhh young love.

I was that same girl at 13...totally in love with my horse Stormcloud. Stormy was a white Appaloosa that was just as stubborn and obstinate as I was!. Lucky girl...and Happy Birthday too her.
