Reboot Part 2

I was very sucessful with the first phase of my juicing reboot and have now moved onto the 2nd part. 1-2 small healthy meals a day, supplemented with fresh smoothie style juices. I have lost a total of 15.4 pounds in just a little over 3 weeks. Through this process I have been able to kick a life long addiction to diet soda, I have actually eliminated all artificial sweeteners from my diet. I feel great, plenty of energy and now I plan to add some regular exercise into the mix.
So what is a "smoothie style juice" you ask? I've been using a Nutribullet which is a bit more like a blender and has many benefits as an alternative to straight juicers. You are using the whole fruit/veg and so you need less, you also get the fiber and it's much, much easier to clean. However, I still like certain things better juiced, Primarily the veggies and apples. So I'll make a large batch of my green juice in the juicer and then add it to my Nutribullet concoctions, which require a liquid to blend properly.

One of my favorites above is very easy and tastes great. I use fresh strawberries, watermelon, 1/2 a banana, 1/2 cup of 0% greek vanilla yogurt, 1 tsp chia seeds and 1 tsp organic sugar or Truvia, then you add cold water or you could add green juice and blend. You can really use any fresh fruit you have handy.

and i wanted to congratulate you on your rebooting— i wish i had the discipine to do something like what you've done. it's fantastic!
(using the Nutribullet): two handfuls baby spinach, 1 cup frozen mango chunks, 1 heaping tablespoon raw pumpkin seeds, 1/2 avocado, and for the liquid--half should be almond milk and half should be coconut water (to the max line)...
very creamy and delicious!!!!
