Pie's 2013 Holiday Gift Guide

Prime Pretty

Some very pretty ideals from some of my favorite dealers on Amazon and many are eligible for prime shipping. 1. Of course I have to include a little Orla and this pink leather purse has been on my wish list for a while. 2. Amazon has also added some of her home goods and this set is both lovely and functional. 3. Rifle Paper Co. is another favorite and there is nothing more appreciated than a true thank you card. 4. I also love their collection of phone cases, that London one is calling my name! 5. How sweet is this Stacy wallet by Kate Spade? 6. Fuji has brought back instant print fun with their Instax cameras available in a variety of colors. 7. I've been a big fan of the groovy goods from Danish company Ferm Living, like this pillow and now ava via Amazon!

Another good deal via the wonderful Lesley Evers, spend $125 or more and get a free signature silk scarf that reatails for $68! Keep it or give it as a gift, one size fits all! Since she only releases a few scarfes in limited quantities a year they are becoming highly collectible. Just add the scarf to your basket and then enter promo code: givejoy at check out.

On the left, from Library of Flowers  are these unique & beautifully designed bottles of bubble bath that are almost to pretty to give away. I am also excited to get my hands on this new decor book by former Domino Magazine Editor & Chief, Deborah Needlman

My two photo book picks for this gifting season are from two ends of the spectrum. Guy Boudin was a french fashion photographer who was one of my biggest influences when I first started shooting fashion. His work, though not always pretty, pushed boundaries while creating mystery. I am lucky enough to own the now out of print, Exhibit A. He died in the early 90's but his work lives on with this newest book and a well maintained website. This compilation book of Avedon's celebrity portrait work is a master class in capturing the soul of a subject. He uses no elaborate sets or props, just simple backdrops, beautiful light and his incredible eye.

Happy Holidays Y'all!
