Polaroid Past

My Mom has been going through all her stuff as they prepare for a big move and she found this funny little polaroid I had sent her from a shoot I did way back when. Shot at The Plaza Hotel in NYC for Mirabella Magazine, I used a little Polaroid slide printer and then added the caption on top before I mailed it. That was long before email, facebook or any other modern form of sharing existed. No, back in those days a little more effort was involved like stamps, envelopes, pens & scotch tape.

How especially sweet that she saved it all these todays modern world, it would have just faded into cyber space, had it existed at all.

Have a thoughtful weekend!

Love the photo & caption, you have such a great style and I bet it would be fun to be photographed by you. I use to have one of those little printers too! Miss those days.
