Smeg: A Love Story ❤

I never really thought I would have a crush on an appliance but my love for the Smeg Fridge borders on the point of obsession. My ultimate dream kitchen would have 1920s vintage tile and a Smeg in light green. More of this kawaii loft at Micasa.

Based in Italy, they only recently became available in the U.S. and they are not cheap! I did find this a deal via Amazon, the retail price of $1999 is pretty on par but you would save with free shipping and no sales tax in most areas.

Destined to become a pop icon, if not one already. I love this illustration by Rojo & Garabato a groovy design team from Spain, be sure to check out their magazine!

I have only found the single door style available on this side of the pond. Still it's all about the color choices. Even the "cream" looks better than your average white fridge. I would love the one on the bottom right, with the freezer on the bottom. Oh and the light blue is pretty dreamy.

They even do custom finishes...the mind boggles!

Cup of JAVO

The holidays always means a few new gadget owners who will be on the hunt for accessories. At the top of that list is usually a cover or case. JAVOedge makes some very stylish options for many devices including great kindle covers which I have featured before. They have introduced a new cover for the iPad, the Axis. Theys covers include a cool swivel easel feature that allows you to stand your iPad up either horizontally or vertically. The two they sent are in a this fun cherry blossom pattern but you can also find them in more masculine options like black and charcol. The iPad is easy to clip onto the base, a hard shelve style holder that holds it securely. The entire case feels sturdy but is light weight. You can also just fold the cover back if you prefer, the closure is magnetic.

Fossil Giveaway

Fossil has just released this kawaii e-reader cover featured a few months ago here. Pie is coming up on a big milestone, 200,000 hits and to celebrate I plan to do a giveaway a week till Christmas. So first up is this fantastic cover! It fits either the Nook or the Kindle 2 (not the newest 3rd generation) and is also available in a navy version.
