Hot Off the Press!

Last month I shot a really fun story for the holiday issue of the new-ish online magazine Southern Flourish which becomes available today! It was conceived and styled by the amazing Annette Joseph and with beautiful hair & make up by Faith Brooks. These are two of my favorite shots that did not make the cut. Above Madison is wearing a plaid jacket & crocheted hat by Anthropologie.

Annette and her team put together some fun and easy craft projects using thrift store sweaters, like this colorful wreath, even I could do. The red coat is from Anthropologie and the hat is from World Market. 

I love this magazine's fresh and edgy view of southern life and I had a lot of fun working with them on this issue. A yearly subscription (4 issues) is just $10 but Pie readers can get $2 off that price by entering the code: Piewacket.

Southern Flourish is a new lifestyle magazine with a focus on the South with a contemporary twist. I especially love their "My Southern Life" series. I am also excited to have Pie chosen for their blog's "Blog of the Week", which was posted yesterday. How cool is that?
